STATEMENT FROM MAYOR KEVIN NEWLAND
REGARDING TOWN PARK AND BALLFIELD

In response to the Governor’s “Stay Home, Stay Healthy” order regarding COVID-19, effective immediately and until further notice, the Town’s ball field is closed to team practice and games. Additionally, all parks are closed to any gathering of more than four (4) people.

In response to the “Stay Home, Stay Healthy” order from Governor Inslee on March 23, 2020:

Effective immediately,
Town offices will be closed to the public
until further notice.

The Governor’s proclamation:

  • requires every Washingtonian to stay home unless they need to pursue an essential activity;
  • bans all gatherings for social, spiritual, and recreational purposes; and
  • closes all businesses except essential businesses.

If you need to contact Town Hall, you may continue to do so during regular business hours at 345-2531:

  • Monday and Wednesday
    12:00 pm – 3:00 pm

Utility payments can continue to be made by utilizing the drop box on the front of the building, or by mail. The clerk will not be accepting payments in person.

We must all do our part to ensure our journey through this is as quick and painless as possible. Rest assured we are doing our part – we ask you to do your part as well and stay home, stay healthy. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
