RESOLUTION NO. 2018-01
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF WILSON CREEK, increasing the water rates in the Town pursuant to the authority granted by the terms of Section 1 of Ordinance No. 336 and section 13.04.010 of the Wilson Creek Municipal Code.
WHEREAS, by the terms of Section 1 or Ordinance No. 336 and Section 13.04.010 of the Wilson Creek Municipal Code, the Town Council is granted authority to thereafter change or amend the water rate use rates in the Town by establishing the same by Resolution; and
WHEREAS, the Council finds that there is a need to increase water use rates to provide funds for capital improvements to the water system in Wilson Creek in the best interest of the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of Wilson Creek; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF WILSON CREEK, WASHINGTON, as follows:
SECTION 1. The monthly flat rate shall be the sum of Twenty Two Dollars and Seventy Three Cents ($22.73) for any amount up to the first five hundred (500) cubic feet of water; For a flat rate billed amount of Twenty Five Dollars ($25.00) after adding the Ten Percent (10%) tax; Seventy cents ($0.70) per one hundred (100) cubic feet for all water over and above five hundred (500) cubic feet.
SECTION 2. Resolution No. 2009-01, adopted April 9, 2009, is hereby repealed in its entirety.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be effective from and after June 30, 2018.
